Give Old iphones

Do you have an old iPhone which you no longer use?

If so, the Diocese of Toliara would be delighted to receive it to improve communication with the priests,  evangelists and seminarians. The priests and evangelists can work with many churches, so this helps them keep in touch with those in their care. Seminarians use their cell phones to receive homework assignments and course materials.

The Diocese is spread over a very large area and is just starting to use Zoom calls to connect all the clergy or teach the Rooted in Jesus Discipleship courses, for instance.

Donated iPhones need to have working batteries and charger.

So that the phone can be used with a SIM card by any Malagasy mobile provider, both SIM and IMEI unlocking need to be done as follows:
1) the iPhone needs to be unlocked by your provider (AT&T, Sprint, T-mobile, etc)
2) then please reset the iPhone to the original settings, removing all previous security settings and passwords.

Please contact Friends of Toliara with any questions and to arrange how best to get the iPhone to Madagascar.
