In June 2020, members of the Board of People Reaching People and leaders of the Diocese of Toliara established the “Friends of Toliara”, to continue the ministry of People Reaching People.
The Founding Members were Bishop Todd McGregor, Assistant Bishop Samitiana, Cheryl & Will Harman, John Griffin, Paul & Maggie Simmons, Simon & Sue Babbs, & Walter Jones.
In November 2020, we were joined by Jacky Lowe and Emily Nell Lagerquist who have lived in the Diocese for considerable periods and have deep connections with the people of Toliara.
Our aim is to continue our friendship and partnership with the Diocese, as we work together to take Christ’s commission to Madagascar and the rest of the world.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19-20a)
